Shiro Abhyanga
SIRO ABHYANGAM (“HEAD MASAGE”) means a complete massage of the head, neck, and shoulders using Ayurvedic herbal oils. It is used to treat Different types of headaches and diseases related to the head, Hemiplegia or paralysis, Insomnia, Degenerative, diseases, Inflammatory diseases, Dryness of the scalp and Itching in the scalp.
NASYAM
NASYAM means instillation of medicated oil or ghee through the nasal passage. The excess of toxins accumulated in the throat, nose and head is eliminated and it helps to cleanse, moisturise, decongest, protect & strengthen our nasal mucous membranes to combat daily pathogens & improve immunity.
UDWARDHANA
UDWARTHANA is a treatment where specially prepared herbal paste or herbal powder is massaged over the body. It helps in weight loss and detoxification. KIZHI
KIZHI is an Ayurvedic massage that is done with the help of small and warm bundles that contains herbal powders and medicines, medicinal rice or sand. PATRA PINDA SWEDA (ELA KIZHI)
PATRA PINDA SWEDA Patra means leaves, Pinda means bolus, Sweda is sweat. It is a treatment in which leaves of medicinal plants having analgesic, anti-degenerative and anti-inflammatory properties are used for fomentation (sweat inducing) of painful parts. It provides relief from pain, inflammation, swelling and stiffness associated with bone, joint and musculoskeletal pains.
PATRA PINDA SWEDA (ELA KIZHI)
PODIKIZHI is a relaxing and effective treatment involving full body massage (or the affected part) using kizhi with a mixture of 12 herbs, dipped in medicated oils. It helps in increasing the peripheral blood supply, detoxifies the skin, removes the toxins through skin pores, lowers skin diseases, improves complexion of the skin, removes stress and relieves body, strengthens muscles and skin.
DHANYAMLA DHARA
DHANYAMLA DHARA is a treatment that is done by stream pouring of liquids obtained by fermenting cereals and other herbal medicines over the body of the patient. It is used to treat various ailments such as muscular pain, obesity, hemiplegia paralysis and rheumatic arthritis and it eliminates toxins from the body that hampers metabolic issues in the body.
JANU VASTI
JANU VASTI is a treatment in which medicated oils are poured and pooled for a fixed duration of time in a cabin constructed around the knee joints using wet flour of black gram. It soothes and relieves chronic pain, spasm, rigidity and inflammation around knee joint and calf region and protects cartilages of knee joint from wear and tear.
